Payeepack

For contractors and the US companies that pay them

Your US client asked for a W-9.
You might need a W-8.

Four questions. The official IRS form. A cover note accounts payable can file. Preview is free.

This is paperwork, not a tax opinion. You sign the final PDF.

Free sites give you a PDF. Payers want a packet they can file.

The right form

US persons get a W-9, even abroad. Foreign individuals get a W-8BEN. Getting that backwards is why invoices sit.

The official IRS original

We fill the real IRS PDF, not a look-alike. Preview is watermarked. You sign the unmarked file.

A cover note AP understands

Plus an optional invoice. Or send a request link so the contractor fills it for you.

Why this is not a $5 form filler

Other sites sell or give away a W-8BEN file. They stop there. They often invent a treaty rate. They do not tell a US citizen they need a W-9. They do not give accounts payable anything to put in the vendor folder.

Payeepack is the packet: router, official form, cover note, optional invoice, payer request link. We leave treaty article and rate blank unless you type what an adviser said.

Price

$29 one packet — final IRS form, cover note, optional invoice.

$19/mo unlimited packets plus request links for payers.

Before you start

Do I send this to the IRS?

No. You give the signed form to the company that pays you. They keep it. You do not file it with the IRS.

I am a US citizen living abroad. Do I use a W-8?

No. US citizens and US tax residents use Form W-9. The quiz will send you there.

Will this cut 30% withholding?

We will not promise that. Contractor pay is often about where the work was done, not a treaty rate on the form. We do not auto-fill Part II.

What if I am a company, not a person?

Foreign entities generally use W-8BEN-E. We will point you to the official IRS form. We do not generate that one yet.
